We have been in our house for 6 1/2 years now. Ever since about the 2nd summer, we have wanted to put a planter bed along the west side of our house. We've just never gotten around to doing it. Over the last 2 summers, the ground on that side of the house has settled really bad, so finally on Saturday, we did it. We hauled a ton of new dirt in and filled in the low area along the house and made our planter bed. It turned out really nice. My husband is such a sweetie for finally getting it done for me, even when it was 87 degrees out.
We've still got some work to do, but it looks so much better.
