She's 1

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby, Raegan. She turns 1 today. It's hard to believe how fast this past year has gone. I know I say that with all my babies. I've always been working during the first year with my first two kids so it has been fun to be home with Raegan. I've got to be there for all her little things.

She has 2 bottom teeth and one more on the way.
She has had her first haircut.
She is walking.
She loves to talk.

She can beat me down the stairs by sliding on her tummy.

She loves to play peekaboo.

She giggles so hard when i tickle her.

She loves it when i say "I'm gonna get you." She laughs and tries her hardest to "run" whether on her feet or her hands and knees.

She loves to sit at the piano and "play pretty".

She also loves to give the baby kisses in the mirror.

She loves to snuggle her baby dolls.
She hates for me to put her hair in a ponytail.
She loves to wrestle around with anyone as long as they aren't too rough.
She has recently decided it is fun to jump on my bed and the couch thanks to her brother's not so good example.
She loves the dog from a distance.

She hates the vacuum and just trembles when I have it on.

She loves her big sister and i often find them just playing in Kaylee's room together.

She waves goodbye to Dad and Mom.

She thinks it is fun to shake her head "no" and try to walk around.

A SNOW DAY, March 27th???

We got home from our Vegas vacation on Tuesday, Kaylee went back to snow from Spring Break on Wednesday and Thursday we woke up to one of the best blizzards all winter. She got out for a snow day on March 27th. Crazy Idaho weather!

Hey Baby, lets go to Vegas!

During Spring break, we took the family to Vegas. It's been about 5 years since Ryan and I have been there. I have a brother in the Airforce stationed there at Nellis and Ryan has a cousin living there. My brother Johnathan just got back from a 6 month tour in Iraq so we thought it would be fun to visit since he was not here during the holidays this past year.

We left on Thursday afternoon and drove to SLC to my sister's house. We stayed there that night and left about 10:30 the next morning. My niece, Keli, came with us.

Saturday, we ventured down to the strip. We went to MGM and saw the lions.

We went to M&M World.

We went to New York, New York and then we rode the tram that travels from Excaliber to Mandalay Bay.
By the time we got back from that, we had 7 tired kids, 4 tired adults and one bored teenager.
Wholly cow, it is a circus trying to keep track of that many kids and trying to get them to the bathroom when they start pee-pee dancing (not all at the same time, mind you).
Saturday night, we rounded up a couple of babysitters and Ryan and I and his cousin Russel and Tanya went out to dinner at Memphis Barbeque. MMMMMMM! and then went down to Fremont Street to get a deep fried twinkie for dessert. MMMMMMM!
On Easter Sunday, we went out to my brother's house for dinner and to hang out. We got our first opportunity to play with a Wii. It was a blast. Ryan now insists that we need one. We'll see. We had a great dinner (Thanks JaNay) out on the back porch. she had also made up little Easter baskets for our 3 kids and for Keli. We had a great afternoon and evening with them.
Monday, Ryan and Russell and Johnathan went out to Bass Pro Shop. When they finally got home about 3:30, we packed the car and headed back to SLC. It was a nice drive and we got to my sister's about 11 pm. Next day, we headed out about 1 pm and took our time getting home. We stopped at our friends' new home in Malad and visited with them for a couple of hours.
It was a fun trip, and more vacation than we've had in years. When we got to Malad on the way home, it started raining and snowing. We were tempted to turn around and head back down there.
We were all exhausted and happy to be home. We might just do it again next year.
