Last night, there was a fire fighter training on a house just around the corner from us. It was a very old house, rumored to be one of the originals in town. It has been abandoned for some time now and has been falling apart and becoming a big eye sore in town. The current owner donated it to the city, which in turn allowed the fire department to use it for training. It was pretty cool to watch. It must have been pretty exciting because I think most of the town showed up to watch it burn.

Thanks for taking pictures of this event. We lived in that house when I was a small child and I babysat for several families who lived there through the years. It was sad to see it burn but it had become such an eyesore.
