Camping with the Quirls

We went camping yet again, with our good friends, Troy and Christie and their cute girls. We had a great time hiking, swimming, four wheeler riding, throwing rocks into the creek and just plain hanging out.

Thanks for a fun weekend guys!

What my bed says about me

What Your Bed Says About You

Outward appearances are very important to you. You do your best to look good and have an attractive home.

You try to be an organized person, but you often fall behind. Certain parts of your life tend to fall into chaos.

You are very low maintenance. You tend to go with the flow, and you're easily pleased.

In relationships, you tend to be quite dominant. You enjoy taking charge.

You tend to be a dreamy, head in the clouds type of person. You think in terms of possibilities.

You are a traveler. You are comfortable anywhere, and you rarely feel homesick.

Yellowstone Bear World

Yesterday, we took the kids to Yellowstone Bear World for a couple of hours. It was a perfect day for going there because it was a little cooler and it had been raining a little. The animals like that weather and are always out and about.

There are lots of bears, elk, deer, buffalo, wolves, mountain goats to see. Then there is the petting zoo, where you can go in and pet the deer, goats, potbellied pig, and numberous chickens and such. We try to go once a year because it is a pretty cool place to visit.

If you ever get the chance to go, do it, atleast one time because it is pretty cool.

Math Problem

Ok, Here is a math problem for all you math whizzes, although, I really dont' think you'll have to be a whiz to figure this one out.

Story Problem.

Object A is travelling at 100 miles per hour in no particular direction causing a path of distruction, and Object B is travelling the same path at 10 miles per hour following Object A. Object A stops every 4 hours for a 1 1/2 hour period of time, but Object B keeps going constantly, does object B have a chance of catching up to Object A? If so, when will it happen???

Object A - a very cute 18 month old girl named Raegan

Object B - an exhausted mommy named Corey

I don't think Object B has a chance. I told ya it wouldn't take a genius to figure that one out. Holy tornado, it is exhausting trying to keep up with Raegan.

Heartburn anyone?

The other night, while we were camping, we were winding down for the evening and Ryan decided to have a pop. I asked him if he was gonna have some heartburn, because more often then not, pop in the evening will provide him with a case of heartburn.

The next day at lunch, I asked the kids what they would like to drink and Bo's reply was that he would like some heartburn. He really thought that was what the pop was called. It gave us a good laugh.

Camping at Wright Creek

This weekend we went camping at Wright Creek. It was just our little family and we had the whole camp ground to ourselves. Saturday, we went hiking a bit in the morning. There are some fun rocks and caves to explore very near to where we camped.

Later, we went swimming at Green Canyon Hotsprings. We were there right after they opened so there was only a few other people in the pool. It was fun. The kids could go and do whatever they wanted and it was easy to keep track of them.

After 2 1/2 hours of swimming, it was lunch time so we went back to camp and ate lunch and then Ryan and the kids went hiking and rock collecting some more while Raegan napped in the camper.

That evening, Ryan's brother Tyler and his girlfriend, Sarah and her two kids, Kaylee and Justin, came up and had s'mores with us. It was fun to visit with them.

We all must have been worn out because we were all in bed by 9:30 that night. It was a fun weekend. Hopefully it won't be our last camping trip for the season.

Its more comfortible

Last night, we had all the kids in bed and Ryan and I were relaxing and watching a little TV before we went to bed. We checked the kids before we went upstairs and this is what we found in Bo's room.

I asked him this morning why he slept in the laundry basket and he said because it was more comfortible. The clothes in the bottom made it nice and soft.
But really, more comfortible than his bed?!? I think not. Silly boy. It gave us a good laugh at any rate.
