Heartburn anyone?

The other night, while we were camping, we were winding down for the evening and Ryan decided to have a pop. I asked him if he was gonna have some heartburn, because more often then not, pop in the evening will provide him with a case of heartburn.

The next day at lunch, I asked the kids what they would like to drink and Bo's reply was that he would like some heartburn. He really thought that was what the pop was called. It gave us a good laugh.

Camping at Wright Creek

This weekend we went camping at Wright Creek. It was just our little family and we had the whole camp ground to ourselves. Saturday, we went hiking a bit in the morning. There are some fun rocks and caves to explore very near to where we camped.

Later, we went swimming at Green Canyon Hotsprings. We were there right after they opened so there was only a few other people in the pool. It was fun. The kids could go and do whatever they wanted and it was easy to keep track of them.

After 2 1/2 hours of swimming, it was lunch time so we went back to camp and ate lunch and then Ryan and the kids went hiking and rock collecting some more while Raegan napped in the camper.

That evening, Ryan's brother Tyler and his girlfriend, Sarah and her two kids, Kaylee and Justin, came up and had s'mores with us. It was fun to visit with them.

We all must have been worn out because we were all in bed by 9:30 that night. It was a fun weekend. Hopefully it won't be our last camping trip for the season.

Its more comfortible

Last night, we had all the kids in bed and Ryan and I were relaxing and watching a little TV before we went to bed. We checked the kids before we went upstairs and this is what we found in Bo's room.

I asked him this morning why he slept in the laundry basket and he said because it was more comfortible. The clothes in the bottom made it nice and soft.
But really, more comfortible than his bed?!? I think not. Silly boy. It gave us a good laugh at any rate.

Bear Lake trip

Last weekend, we took off to Bear Lake with some friends. We left Thursday after the kids got out of school. It was a beautiful drive down. Friday, we spent the day on the beach even though it only got to about 63 degrees out. Seems like it must take more than a chilly day to keep the Idaho people from having fun in the water. We enjoyed the day boating and playing in the sand on the beach. The men all went out in the boat for a while and then the women got their chance in the boat. We all had fun skiing or tubing.

That evening we drove to Garden City for milk shakes....again, we were freezing, but it didn't stop us from having ice cream.

Saturday, we again spent the day at the beach. Kaylee and Bo both went on the inner tube and had a great time.
We all stopped for dinner at a little mexican restuarant that night on the way home. There was 23 of us all together so it was pretty crazy.

It was an awesome weekend!!!

Bar J Wranglers

A couple of Saturdays ago, our Elder's Quorum had an activity and went up to Jackson, WY to see the Bar J Wranglers. They put on a dinner and a show. It was so much fun.

It was fun to get to visit with friends from our ward that we don't normally get to visit with much during the week.
